The Blog of hardtimes

Well what I thought was going to be a stressful weekend turned out brilliant.

My mum and dad come for the weekend, I was dreading it after last time and si was so ill, but  he has been pretty good this last week of so, and hasn't had any adverse reactions to the injection driver coming down. Also he isn't in any pain and seems quite upbeat at the moment.

My eldest son visited between his shifts and is quite mellow, so that's pretty good.

the youngest son and my hubby have been working in his garden, so they are happy, my daughter  and her partner are getting along ok at the moment, baby is walking now on her own and she is so cheeky and funny, so that's good.

Mum and Dad took me out for dinner on Sat, early evening while hubby stayed with Si, it was the other way round last time as si was so ill, and I went out for sunday breakfast with mum and dad and oldest son . Then mum and dad went back to London.

Then while oldest son stayed with Si, Hubby and I went to a boot fair, bought loads of toot! Large Egyptian statues , porcelain,[12  and 14 inches] for the garden,[ everything goes in my garden,] 2 quid, a black sack full of the large lego bricks for the grandchildren, 5 quid, a wine rack 1 pound and a large round coal skuttle, brass 1 pound, I've already filled it with plants!a pair of shoes 1 pound, and the most ridiculous feather hairband/hat thing, which I will probably wear, {it had been bought for a wedding?] 1 pound! so all in all loads  of goodies, it was so nice ust being able to go out and stroll around and relax.

So all in all I had a bit of R&R albeit nothing exciting, but it was just what I needed.

Bring it on, I am ready for anything, well almost anything, still haven't had a positive response from the witch but her time will come, sooner rather than later.

Well that's it for now, got to feed the fish and birds. will be back tomorrow.
